Home Based Supervisor & Early Head Start Coordinator            

12 months, fulltime, exempt.  
This position will develop and coordinates comprehensive Early Head Start programming and is responsible for the oversight of Head Start and Early Head Start staff. This position provides on-the-job planning, guidance, coaching, training, and technical assistance to classroom home visiting staff that provide home visits serving Early Head Start and Head Start children.  This position works with program staff to improve the quality of teaching and Home Visiting; assists both programs to promote positive, significant and sustained outcomes for children; and promote career development for teaching staff working in the Head Start and Early Head Start home based option. This position supports the family service requirements for all families enrolled in Home Visiting programs. 

Education and experience:

            Minimum of an A.A or A.S. degree in Early Childhood Education or related field, prefer Bachelor’s degree (B.A or B.S.) from four-year college or university in Early Childhood Education or related field.  Experience in providing and implementing education and or family service activities and training for teaching staff and parents.  Prefer previous home visiting or family service experience.

Substitute Head Start Classroom Aide/Bus Rider/Interpreter
For Nobles County

10-15 hours per week, non-exempt.  Responsible for assisting the teacher with the children in the various activities at the Center and on field trips.  In addition, responsible for riding the bus to and from the Center, assisting the driver, adhering to transportation guidelines.  Former Head Start parents are encouraged to apply.  Reasonable accommodations for special needs will be furnished upon request.  Starting immediately.  Application deadline is open until filled.
