Overview
The Southwestern Minnesota Opportunity Council (SMOC) is seeking a reliable and customer-focused Transit Bus Driver to provide safe and efficient transportation services to residents of Nobles County. This position operates a 14–17 passenger bus and plays a key role in serving the community.
Specific Skills
To carry out the responsibilities, bus drivers will have the skills or training in these areas: Traffic and safety laws, daily maintenance checks, record-keeping, and defensive driving skills. Ability to submit accurate and timely data. Flexibility, ability to get along with people, good judgement, and effective public communication. Medium work, occasionally lifting to 40-60 pounds. Mobility in and out of bus. Able to sit to drive the duration of all scheduled bus routes. Able to perform maintenance checks to buses.

Salary
Starting hourly rate $21.42-$22.17 based on skill, education and experience.
