Overview

Southwestern Minnesota Opportunity Council (SMOC) Health Services is seeking a full-time Registered Nurse (RN) to support the continued growth and expansion of our programs in response to increasing community needs. This position will help advance SMOC’s commitment to whole-person care, improve access to health services, and strengthen the delivery of preventive and responsive care across our clinics, community, and school-based settings. This position will further support SMOC’s strategic health priorities and our ongoing efforts to ensure individuals and families have access to high-quality, compassionate care where they live, learn, and work.

Specific Skills
Valid unencumbered RN license in the state of Minnesota. Valid Minnesota Driver’s License and willingness to travel between SMOC Health Services clinics and events. Maintain current CPR/BLS certification. Proficiency with electronic health record (EHR) systems. Strong communication and patient education skills. Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a team environment. Strong organizational skills and attention to detail. Ability to lift 50 lbs. and withstand extended periods of standing and walking.
Responsible For
The Registered Nurse (RN) functions within the scopes and standards of nursing practice as outlined in the Nurse Practice Act and Administrative Rules in the state of Minnesota, and the Code of Ethics for Nurses with Interpretive Statements as published by the American Nurses Association as the foundation of nursing care delivery and professional conduct.  Primary location is Marshall, MN with occasional travel required.  Some evening and/or weekend hours may be necessary.

Minimum of 1 - 2 years of clinical nursing experience preferred
Salary
Starting hourly rate $29.79–$30.83 based on skill, education and experience.
