SMOC, a non-profit organization, is seeking a full-time (40 hours per week) Classroom Assistant Teacher at our Head Start site in Worthington.

Specific Skills
Bilingual skills are not required but preferred. Ability to work with 3–5-year-old children. Ability to take directions from supervisor. Ability to lift and carry supplies. Confidentiality.
Responsible For
Engages in mutually respectful goal-orientated partnerships with families to promote parent-child relationships and family well-being: Respects and responds appropriately to culture, language, values, and family structures of each family served; Supports families’ safety, health, financial stability, life goals, and aspirations; Enhances parent-child relationships and supports parents’ role as the first and life long educators of their children; Supports families in using community resources that enhance family well-being and children’s learning and development. In addition, responsible for riding to and from the center, assisting the driver, and adhering to transportation guidelines.
